They say you can't do it all, but clearly, they haven't met Saf Malin.

Guess who's back? That's right, it's me—Saf Malin AKA Safia So Fly, here with fresh insights, impeccable fashion sense, and a renewed sense of purpose. For those returning to my blog, welcome back into the fold of wit and wisdom. And to those just discovering my literary prowess, buckle up for a magical journey ahead.

Calling all fashion enthusiasts—are you seated? Because we're about to embark on one heck of a ride. Allow me to reintroduce myself.

I'm Safia, a 26-year-old nomad currently rooted in Seattle, WA. Despite my age, I've traversed the globe, soaking up experiences across various industries. From my pioneering work in tech—where I was the minority —to my deep-rooted involvement in non-profits where I tackled issues of racial equity and equal opportunity, community has always been my compass.

I wielded a pen before I could stroll confidently, proudly declaring, "I am a writer." Over the years, my prose has spanned personal reflections, sartorial musings, and even the occasional political expose. Now, with a seasoned understanding of the power of niche marketing, I'm excited to unveil my reborn blog with a focus on the ever-evolving world of fashion.

My love affair with fashion began on my 9th birthday, courtesy of a gifted "Passion for Fashion Bratz Runway Set." Those tiny dolls and their myriad outfits ignited a spark that has since matured into a skill I later learned is called "curation." At heart, I'm a curator—someone who revels in piecing together elements that defy conventional norms. You see, my love for fashion is always at odds with my need for individuality and my anti conformist personality.

Fashion, for me, is a playground of contradictions. It's a realm rife with rules that I'm inclined to break. From my stint as a celebrity stylist in Atlanta, GA, to my endeavors in global social enterprises, I find myself perpetually walking the tightrope between an industry that embodies so much of what I challenge and staying true to my unapologetic self. The fashion world is full of rules and at heart I am a rule breaker. I have finally found a balance and it's a dance between fascination and rebellion, where fashion's allure meets my unwavering commitment to inclusivity—what I call "equitable elitism."

In a world where fashion often feels like an exclusive club with steep entry fees, I'm here to shake things up. Let's face it: the runway can sometimes seem more like a catwalk for the elite than a playground for everyone. Through my writing I am on a mission to demystify and democratize style. On this blog, I'll be dishing out affordable styling tips that prove you don't need a trust fund to look like a million bucks. More than just showcasing trends, I'm committed to sharing real stories and experiences that resonate with everyday people. It's about celebrating individuality, embracing imperfections, and showing that true style isn't about the price tag, it's about confidence and creativity. Let's make fashion a space where everyone feels welcome and empowered.

Join me on this journey where innovation meets style, and together, let's uncover the joy of true self-expression.
